Faction
based
on my own 1968/70 journey from Copenhagen to
Nairobi with stays
in
Ethiopia, Malawi and Mozambique.
Set in the flower-power era travelling with
backpackers from
many countries – particularly young middle-class Americans
dodging the Vietnam war.
Also emphasis on the period’s liberal attitude to
sex.
